We are seeking a results-driven Independent Sales Representative to promote and expand the market presence of Harbour within a defined territory. As the primary point of contact for our products, you will be responsible for soliciting orders, managing client relationships, and executing strategic sales activities to maximize revenue and brand goodwill.

Harbour blends refined design with durable, sustainably sourced materials to create products that elevate outdoor living across residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces worldwide.
Assigned Territory (QLD Region)
Summary:We are seeking a results-driven Independent Sales Representative to promote and expand the market presence of Harbour within a defined territory. As the primary point of contact for our products, you will be responsible for soliciting orders, managing client relationships, and executing strategic sales activities to maximize revenue and brand goodwill.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Active Promotion: Aggressively promote the full catalogue of current and future Harbour products to existing and potential accounts.
- Order Solicitation: Solicit orders from a diverse client base, including purchasing agents, designers, architects, specification writers, and hospitality/commercial firms.
- Market Growth: Use "best efforts" to maximize sales volume and expand the company’s footprint within the assigned geographic region.
2. Relationship & Account Management
- Customer Service: Provide "after-sale" support and general customer service to purchasers to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Operational Support: Assist with delivery coordination, and consistent inventory checks for customers.
- Communication: Keep customers fully informed of your authority limits (noting that the Representative cannot make binding financial commitments on behalf of the Company).
3. Marketing & Representation
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to company sales policies, including discount structures, Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP), and established lead times.
4. Reporting & Administration
- Activity Logs: Generate monthly sales itineraries and reports detailing all sales activities and market feedback.
- Financial Diligence: Provide information regarding the credit standing of accounts and assist in the collection of information as requested by the Compan
Qualifications:
- Status: Must operate as an Independent Contractor (responsible for your own taxes, employee benefits, and business expenses).
- Professionalism: Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a geographic territory with minimal supervision.
- Ethics: Must maintain high standards of financial diligence and professional conduct to protect the Harbour brand reputation.
- Travel: Ability to conduct territory visits and meet with clients on-site.
Employment Information:
Compensation: Commission-Based: Pay is calculated on "Net Sales" (gross sales less discounts, returns, and allowances).
- 7% Commission: On orders where the client receives a 0%–30% discount off MSRP.
- 6% Commission: On orders where the client receives a 31%–50% discount off MSRP.
